MAY 25 TO SEPTEMBER 15, 2024
The Hommage à la France exhibition is devoted to the different approaches to concrete art in France, as reflected in the Marli Hoppe-Ritter collection. While the bulk of the exhibition is devoted to paintings, these are accompanied by object-paintings, lumino-kinetic works and installations. This selection of works, spanning almost an entire century, clearly demonstrates, through numerous examples, the lively exchange of ideas within the artist community. Most of the works on show were created in the three decades after 1945, reflecting in many ways the enormous cultural boom of the period.
