The Grenoble Art Museum has invited four internationally renowned artists for whom the question of the relationship between humans and nature is essential.

These artists, Philippe Cognée, Cristina Iglesias, Wolfgang Laib and Giuseppe Penone, who have already been presented in Grenoble, come from very different backgrounds and, thanks to their original plastic proposals, will shed light on this relationship in resolutely original and unique ways.

For Philippe Cognée, the only painter in the selection, the landscape appears in his work as a counterpoint to the urban views for which he is known, as the expression of an ordered chaos, at once an original and vital place and a wild and threatening one.
