As an abstract painter, Pierre Galopin reflects on the place of the work in the domestic space.
This attention has led him to study the evolution of the salon, from the literary salon of the 17th century to the salon of today. For his Salonfäheg project, he offered to lend his paintings to individuals in exchange for a photographic record of his works in their temporary environment. A 122 pages book published by Filigranes completes this residency (available at the Oniris gallery).
