Alain CLEMENT: Recent works

This new exhibition presents works that show the close relationship between painting and sculpture that has been a constant in Alain Clément's work for more than twenty years. All of the works exhibited have been created over the last five years. 

"I undertake each painting with the hope of a colour. Everything presides over the emergence of this colour, but often it branches off, returns to the shadows".

In Alain Clément's work, the play of colours, primarily primary colours, plays a determining role in the composition, as do these forms, ribbons or arabesques that intertwine and intersect to form an entanglement, an abstract sign that calls our gaze.
