For its 27th edition, Art Paris Art Fair returns to the Grand Palais in April 2025.
After a four-year renovation project, this emblematic structure of the 1900 Universal Exhibition has been restored to its former splendor and brilliance, making it one of the most beautiful exhibition venues in the world.
As part of the Solo Show program at the Art Paris Art Fair, Oniris presents a solo exhibition by the Franco-Hungarian artist Vera Molnar, who passed away in December 2023.
In early 2024, the monographic exhibition at the Centre Pompidou Paris “Parler à l'œil” showcased works by Molnar from the Paris museum's collections. Since the artist's death, the Oniris gallery has been responsible for managing the artist's studio holdings.
A pioneer in the use of computers in artistic creation, Vera Molnar turned to geometric abstraction, working on form, its transformation and displacement from the 1950s onwards. As a true visual artist, she explored line, square, white, black, greys, blues and reds, giving rise to the unexpected and imaginary freedom through a series of transformations of form worthy of scientific experimentation.
For Art Paris Art Fair 2025, Oniris gallery pays tribute to Vera Molnar through a monographic presentation featuring a rich and demanding selection of works illustrating her relationship with abstract geometry and the computer drawings of the 70s, ancestors of modern NFT.
