Croatian artist Julije Knifer was born in 1924 in Osijek (Croatia)
He died in December 2004 in Paris
His work has been exhibited at the Oniris gallery since 1995
Julije Knifer's work is built on two rhythms, that of black and white, and on the horizon and the vertical... painting on canvas or drawing on paper specially chosen for its density, heavy and rough, sometimes executed with a soft pencil lead or with graphite with a metallic texture.
